Will is the man with the ideas. Our co-founder and Managing director’s focus is to make sure the distillery runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible both behind the bar and in front of the computer as well as working hard behind the scenes to get WQS out into the world. 

Michael is one of WQS’s co-founders along with our Head Distiller. He is the mastermind behind the creative and tasteful flavours of each of our signature WQS spirits. Outside of the distillery, Michael is working hard saving lives at our local hospital in Roma.

Kira keeps WQS running behind the scenes! As the  Brand, Events & operations coordinator, Kira’s role is to coordinate everything needed to keep a distillery going. From organising events, collaborating with suppliers, responding to enquiries and emails and running our socials, Kira is on it!

Sparty & Bungy are responsible for ensuring that after a big day, our founders are sufficiently looked after.

Based on her family cattle station outside Cloncurry, Ruth is inspired by the magnificent colours of the landscape. Ruth is our resident Brand Artist and is responsible for the beautiful designs on our bottles as well as the massive mural in our cellar door.
